I want somewhere to live. I want somewhere nice. We are going to be in Provo for about 3 more years. I want to be comfortable as we stay here. I want to walk into a nice frontroom, cook in a kitchen that has ROOM for a dining room table so we don't have to eat at a coffee table, I want a nice master bedroom that fits our bed and dresser comfortably. I especially want 3 bedrooms. I know Jon and I aren't jumping on the new baby train yet, but i'm betting within 3 years we will. I want somewhere to PUT said baby.
I just want a place that is big enough for my family and their dreams to live in. I know that every new married couple has to deal with small and/or annoying places to live. We have been married almost 3 years now though. And our daughter is over 2...shouldn't that mean that we are due for somewhere better? Maybe not. Maybe i'm selfish, self centered and unrealistic. At least i'm all those things and I admit it though.
Anyway, rant over.
Not that our place is super nice but we will be moving this summer. You can fit a table in the kitchen (though its small) and can put a washer/dryer in there. There isn't 3 bedrooms but they are SUPER spacious so two kids fit easily in one BR- we have a toddler bed, crib, toy storage (With a changing table area on it), plus a little toddler table and chair set, AND an art easel all set up comfortably. The built-in closets and dressers give so much space. We've been here 3 years. The place is old, but you can paint and remodel however you want! I'm surprised how happy I've been here. I hope you can find a place you like! And really, let me know if you want our place after we leave.
ReplyDeleteWe couldn't find a good place to rent that was reasonably priced so we just bought one. Right now, it's so much cheaper to buy. You may think it's crazy to buy but you should give it some thought, even though you'll only be around 3 more years.
